Ship holds are the storage containers, tanks and silos on-board large ships which are used for the safe transportation of goods and raw materials be it solid, liquid or gas. These need to be safe as the environment they operate in can be very challenging as issues can lead to long delays and loss of revenue for the shipping company.
Ship holds require constant maintenance with trained teams ready and available to perform the work required. Theses teams require support in terms of safety and rescue for if something doesn’t go to plan and they require immediate assistance, first aid and or safe location removal.
